The sun is shining, a gentle breeze is blowing, and the temperature is a perfect, humidity-free 70 degrees. A fabulous fall day indeed.
I have discovered that fall is the perfect season to reflect on where our lives are, before we head into the darker, colder winter season. We can free ourselves of the outdated mental and spiritual beliefs and ideas we have accumulated over the last year that no longer serve us.. Hoarding those outdated beliefs and ideas can cloud our clarity and blur our focus, which may affect the choices we make for ourselves as we enter the season of holidays and hibernation.
We can think of it as a simple, three-step process. Reflect, release, and relax. We always hear about the cleansing effects of spring cleaning, but a fall purge enables us to have fewer burdens for winter, and more freedom in the spring! We can reflect on the outdated baggage slowing our energy vibration, and how it may have served us up until now. We can release it all without judgment, and with gratitude for how it did serve us. Then we can relax, knowing that we can rest easy, and enjoy a bit of a winter’s nap, before springtime awakens our desire for renewed activity and action. Let’s get rid of our baggage NOW, so we are ready to soar LATER!
One of my favorite sources of inspiration for reflection, release and rejuvenation is the now ubiquitous podcast. I listen to several that resonate with many different facets of my being, and that inspire me to think differently, to explore out of my comfort zone, and to be the best me I can be. I also have thoroughly enjoyed using podcasting (and other social media) to try to be a source of inspiration for others as well.
I am quite proud of the podcast I have co-produced and co-hosted with my longtime friend Hilary Loewenstein, Spilling the Spirituali-TEA. It's a pretty simple format — just two spiritually-guided pals having the same kinds of spirited, frank discussions we have when we aren’t recording — chats about our spiritual ideas, experiences, challenges and triumphs. No preaching, just processing our victories and our defeats, learning from, and sharing different perspectives with, one another. Check out our latest episode about of speaking, sharing, and living our Truth. We definitely don't have all the answers, but sure do love exploring the questions!
The other podcast I have been so excited about has been my Spiritual SuperPals podcast, inspired by the unique and fascinating spiritual lives and journeys of my talented, gracious and curious “super pals,” who are finding ways to express their unique Spirit through the diverse perspectives of their spirituality.
The recently-posted fourth and latest episode of Spiritual SuperPals features a wonderful discussion with my friend Anna Jalickee, an artist and an intuitive reader who combines her gifts to offer a most unique and absolutely LOVELY intuitive reading experience for clients and friends.
And, of course, links to all of my content can be found on my LinkTree page, including my latest Metaphysical Moments posts on Instagram and TikTok, live-streamed meditations, blog posts, other dance music mixes, and more. Remember to “like,” subscribe and follow me on any of these content pages where you haven’t done so already!
Let’s make this fall as fabulous as we possibly can, by gifting ourselves the opportunity to reflect, release, and relax!
